Meet Our Team
Michele Lightening, President
Michele is a Senior Staffing Industry Professional with experience in full life cycle recruiting, managing regional recruiting teams, and developing multimillion dollar accounts. Michele has a Bachelor of Science from Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College) and a Master of Science in Business from the Johns Hopkins University. She has over 20 years of experience focused on building recruiting practices to partner and provide Information Technology and Business staffing solutions and over 15 years of experience staffing for BCBS Organizations and other Health Insurance clients.
L. Charles Lightening, Vice President
L. Charles Lightening has a Bachelor of Science from Towson State University and has spent over 20 years in the Information Technology Staffing Industry as a Senior Business Development Manager building numerous large accounts which were serviced with Consulting and Permanent Staffing Solutions. He spent over 10 years servicing clients in the Government and Health Insurance Industry.
Katie Kaminski, Operations Manager
Katie Kaminski has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has over 10 years’ experience in customer service and previously worked in the insurance industry where she helped to service clients and sell various products across multiple companies based on their individual insurance needs. She brings several years’ experience with sales, marketing, and management which she will use to help with placement in the Information Technology and Business staffing industry.
Karen Emmons, Director, Business Development
Karen A. Emmons has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Administration (MBA) from Temple University. She has over 20 years’ experience in business development and recruiting within the IT staffing industry. She has extensive experience working closely with government and commercial companies matching them with the most qualified IT and healthcare professionals and resources, as well as, partnering and consulting with client groups on development, strategic planning, and qualifying staff augmentation requirements. Prior to joining R/O Resource Solutions, Karen has spent more than 10 years working with Michele and Chuck in the technical staffing industry as a key contributor.
